Topics in Indian Philosophy
These papers were written in 2002 for the course Topics in Indian Philosophy from Monash University in Melbourne. This was my first philosophy subject in the English language, which was quite a challenge. The most fascinating aspect of this course for me was to see the close integration of religious and rational philosophical ideas in Indian philosophy.
The first paper is a short summary of the concepts of Karma, Dharma & Moksa. The second paper looks at Mimamsa (Brahminical) and Buddhist arguments for a persistent self. The final paper is a summation of theories of the self in Indian philosophy.
